Other Upcoming Events
We look forward to hosting another fun and exciting data event in 2025. In the meantime, we hope to use this page to share about some upcoming data discussions and events that may be of interest to you.
Enterprise Data Community - Monthly Meeting and Teams Channel
In late 2025, we launched an Enterpise Data Community. The Data Community meets monthly, on the first Thursday, on Zoom from 2:00-3:00 pm. These sessions are aimed at providing a brief introduction to a data-related topic, followed by time for networking and brainstorming with the data community. There is also a Microsoft Teams Enterprise Data Community that provides the opportunity for UNM faculty and staff in data roles to connect with each other outside the monthly meeting. The emphasis is on getting to know the data community, and providing support for each other in whatever ways we can! Please reach out to Charla Orozco for more details on joining this community - cehenley@unm.edu
NM Data Users' Conference - Wednesday, November 19th
The Annual Data Users Conference is New Mexico’s premier forum for both beginning and professional data users in the state and surrounding areas. Anyone who is working on a grant, doing economic development, working with Census data or doing research will benefit. Find more information here.
UNM HSC Tableau Days - Save the Date: December 10th and 11th
On December 10 and 11, UNM HSC will host their annual Tableau Days event. The event is hybrid, and will focus on improving data visualization capacity using the Tableau platform, highlighting well-made dashboards and processes. More details to follow.
Association of Institutional Research Workshops and Webinars - Ongoing
Did you know, we have an institutional membership to the Association of Institutional Research (AIR)? This provides campus-wide benefits, such as free and reduced-price webinars and workshops, in addition to reduced-price entry to their annual forum. You can find more information about the many free and reduced-price workshops and webinars here.
